A few things I would like to tell you about me

My name is Norbert Klein and I was born in St.Ingbert, a little town in the south-west of Germany, in the year 1959. My parents had come from Poland to Germany one year before. But that's a totally different story. Although it is very interesting, this is not the place to tell it.

I have four brothers, no sister, a fact I deeply regret, because I have never learnt how to treat the second half of mankind correctly. Women will always remain a mystery to me. Finally and unexpectedly I succeeded to find a pretty and clever girl, who tolerates my peculiarities and who has been brave enough to live with me for over ten years up to now.

The time at school was really boring and there are not many things I like to remember. What I missed most, were teachers, who would have been able to mediate, that learning could be fun, and to mediate the enthusiasm for beautiful things. Somehow I passed the A level exam.

The university was not meant for me, it was just like at school, only worse. It seemed to me, that nobody was really interested in things beyond the horizon of his own subject. Soon I quit and instead I worked in a bakery for over twelve years. Although it was really hard working I enjoyed the smelling of fresh bread and, more important, I got in contact to lots of different people. It was great to talk to them, to laugh with them and sometimes just to shake my head because of them.

For some years up to now I have been working for a company, which produces software for hotel management. If you don't know, how this could look like, don't worry, nor did I before. It's a cool job, there are some kind people working there. My bosses are pretty kind, too. I hope, they will read this some time.
